This site is dedicated to the memory of Bob Wolf.
Bob Wolf sadly died aged 61 years, in July 2008, without doubt he is very much missed by his wife, daughters, grandson and other family members. But Wolfy (as he was known to friends and workmates) left a large gap in the lives of all who worked and socialised with him.
His working life spanned many decades, he worked in many shipyards, both on and outside the Tyne.
One of his final and most prestigious jobs was working on the Bongo oil drilling tanker on the Tyne. Earning himself the name of Bongo Bob by workmates and friends alike.
Donations made through the Bob Wolf Snowdrop Fund willbenefit the work of the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund (MKMRF).
